Looking for a modelling agency in Edmonton?

C-Tribe x Fashion casts its own runway shows, so you can apply directly.

C-Tribe Society is the nonprofit that produces C-Tribe Festival. Its fashion team casts the models for its runways, and you apply to the team yourself, with or without an agency.

Independent and represented models use the same form. If you have an agency, the form asks for its name.

How casting works

Four steps

  1. Apply online

Pick a casting and fill in the model form. Your answers save as you go.

  2. Add a video if you're out of town

Not in Edmonton? Add a YouTube or Vimeo video casting. Don't password protect it.

  3. Hear from us by email

The C-Tribe team reviews applications and emails you about the decision.

  4. Walk the runway

If you're selected, the team emails you the show details.

Safety and trust

Know before you walk

  • Free to apply

Neither model form asks for payment. If anyone asks you to pay to walk in a C-Tribe show, email hello@ctribefestival.com before you do anything.

  • 18 or older, checked

The forms turn away anyone under 18, and we check government-issued photo ID at casting and on show day.

  • Read the release first

Applying means accepting the Model Release, which lets C-Tribe Society use photos and video of you from the shows. Read it before you apply.

FAQ

Good to know

Is there an age requirement?
Yes. Models must be 18 or older on the day of the show. The forms do not accept applications from anyone under 18.
Do I need an agency or experience?
No agency is required. It's an open casting. The form asks whether you're represented and whether you've modelled before, so answer honestly either way.
Are the February and August castings the same?
No. The February 25 show is a standalone night, separate from C-Tribe Festival on August 12-17, 2027. Each has its own form, so apply to both if you'd like to walk in both.
I don't live in Edmonton. Can I apply?
Yes. Add a link to a video casting on YouTube or Vimeo. If you're selected, you'll need to be in Edmonton for the show.
Is there a fee to apply?
No. Applying is free, and neither model form asks for payment.
What happens at casting and fittings?
Selected models book a time slot and are fitted in the looks they'll wear. For the February 25 show, casting and fittings are on Saturday, January 30 in downtown Edmonton.
Will photos of me be shared?
Yes. When you apply you accept the Model Release, which lets C-Tribe Society use photos and video of you from the shows, including in promotion. Read the release before you apply.
Can C-Tribe cover my travel?
The forms don't offer travel or accommodation. If you're coming from out of town, plan to be in Edmonton for the casting, the rehearsal and the show.
What do casting alerts include?
Emails about C-Tribe model castings: when one opens, casting details and closing reminders, plus festival news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who do I contact with questions?
Email hello@ctribefestival.com.
