Michael Zouhri is a Edmonton based entrepreneur who had been involved with various technology projects for well over a decade. In his youth he created a digital publication that reached over 60 million readers through various partnerships, including Microsoft MSN. He has won several awards over the years, including top 40 under 40, top 20 under 30, and a medal from the Queen, among others. Today, Mike sits on the investment committee for a private equity firm and participates in the occasional angel investment, but he mostly focuses on his physical recovery after being hit by a drunk driver. His new startup, PainWorth, automates the assessment, calculations and settlement for injury victims; it is a direct response to the frustration he endured with his own injury case and the dysfunctional legal services industry in general. In under 4 months of bootstrapping, PainWorth has already been lauded as an important tool to help bridge the access to justice Gap, has collected over $3million in total case claim sign-ups, has signed up a large commercial Insurance company (with 2 more circling), and has already won a prestigious data science award.
